…is that you won’t see many campaign signs in Arkansas in 2008, at least in the presidential race.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s Matthew S.L. Cate, who was tragically born with one too many initials, reports that Arkansas’ “nonbattleground status” means that campaign yard signs will be hard to come by in the Natural State.

But if no signs are bad news for supporters of John McCain or Barack Obama wanting to show their allegiance, it’s good news for Ad Craft of Arkansas, a Little Rock print shop that’s making a killing selling campaign signs to political junkies. Noted: Ad Craft owner Randi Evans reports that “McCain material outsells Obama stuff by a 5-to-1 ratio.”

Earlier this week, the Republican National Committee pulled some of McCain’s field workers out of Arkansas for reassignment to more competitive states.
