The last ditch effort on the part of the Arkansas Family Council to have the state lottery proposal bounced from the ballot fell short today. Rob Moritz reports at the Politics in Arkansas blog that the state Supreme Court rejected the Family Council’s contention that the wording of the ballot initiative is unclear.
In other lottery news today, the AP reports that financial filings show lottery foes enjoying a collective 2-to-1 cash advantage over the pro-lottery crowd.
